Question:

Using digital camera as card reader?

I wanted to know if it's possible to use my digital camera as a card reader for my PC. I have other files on an SD card which I transferred from a laptop with a card reader but I'm home now and can't access the files. When I plug in my camera, my PC starts to sync with it and allowing me to view and copy the pictures and videos taken but I can't access non-video/picture files. How can I make it so that my PC recognizes my camera as a removable hard drive rather than a camera?

Answer:

You can't. The only way, as I see it, to make what you want to happen is to have a card reader of your own. The computer will never see a camera as a drive.
You have 2 ways to get pics from your camera to your PC. 1. Thru the cable: quite complicated if you dont know anything about tech. You have to install the osft in the disc. comes with your camera, then plug your camera by the cable in the box too. 2. Buy a memory reader card, it should be an USB plugin gadget. You plug it, get the memory card from your camera, put it to the card reader, then copuy/past/delete the file as usual.
