i have a s40 2002 63k, when I shift the transmission it shift a little rough. I went to volvo they refused to touch my transmission until 100k because it don‘t need it until 100k. I was thinking to go to aamco to get a power purge transmission flush. Is it safe???? would it mess up my transmission???? is there another option available to me??????
you put this in physicssothere must be something funny about itlikethe room is on the tenth floor of the building so going out the window would likely kill you. so i've got a litre of water and a blanket.ok.soak the blanket as best you can with water, wrap it around you, run. pray the hallway itself isn't engulfed in flame.
a transmission drain and flush [through cooler lines] is probabley worth while and may indeed help your issue[s]. however please note that these transmissions take a special fluid that comes only from volvo and further that it comes in 2 different types[and canNOT be mixed] with each other or with anything else. [DAMAGE WILL OCCUR] also note these fluids are expensive if you don't have a quality independent shop that is knowlageable with volvo's try a different dealer [ nothing against aamco but i doubt they have seen many of these trans-axels, although they may tell you otherwise to make a sale] also what are they flushing it with [will it be compatable with the volvo fluids? i recommend flushing with the proper fluid until it comes out looking how it went in. [sometimes this takes ALOT of fluid]
i would make the blanket wet ( with the water)put in my mouth and run for the door by breathing through the wet blanketsound kinda cheap but i think thats better than looking out the window and breathing while the room is burning
that's regularly a demonstration of battery issues. no longer unavoidably that that is ineffective (no longer yet), yet a issue. So examine the battery terminals and clean them. Then examine the charging circuit for output and do a load attempt on the battery (mechanic can try this, mine costs $10). the clicking is a too low of potential to the starter issue which potential the two undesirable connection and as quickly as the relationship is heated a splash (with the potential dealing with) it quite works, or different issue with the battery. could desire to be different aspects consisting of starter yet first checkout the battery.
OK a power flush is good but i would be afraid your car may not move after that.Volvo should help u , if they didn't they suk if u want just drain the fluid and put new fluid and get the right shyt that car might take synthetic fluid so ask a Volvo parts guy to check that out 4 u
