Question:

website for cheap motorcycle tires?

ok before all you safety nuts blow a gasket, the motorcycle is a old 400cc that we cut about a ton of crap off and made a little bobber. its just to cruze around town. it is not a race bike i will kill myself on, its not a 2000lb hog. i DO NOT need $400 tires to be safe. i could put 4 new bfg‘s on my van for less thsn $400 for f‘s sake. i don‘t even have $400 into the whole bobber project. i want new CHEAP tires. i don‘t care about speed rating, weight limits, anything better then the dry rotted ones on there. if i ever run it over 40mph it would be a miracle. it‘ll never see a highway. its about 200lbs less then factory and has 1 seat. if i can‘t get 2 new tires on the net for around $50, i‘ll just run the old ones or look for some used ones around here. thanks in advance everyone.

Answer:

if it is not a full exhaust then yours bike could explode
If you have comp/collision coverage mods can affect the value of the vehicle. If the bike is stolen or totalled you have a chance that the listed mods will be covered by the company. Of course, insurance oligopolies are often (usually) greedy, so can also use your listed mods as just another excuse to jack up your rates beyond what the increase in replacement cost would be. Best thing is to never finance a vehicle and discipline yourself to be socking away a maintenance/replacement reserve savings every time you pay for gas. That way if it's crashed, worn out, etc. you can just go to your separate transportation savings account. BTW, money market accounts seem to work ok for this purpose 'cause it's easier to access your money in an emergency, but not so easy you'll blow it on stupid crp.
Don't bother If you can't afford the best tyres for your bike then garage it and don't ride You place yourself at risk with cheap and maybe inferior tyres and the safety of other road users One other point to remember is that top quality tyres are likely to give you a better mileage return so they in fact end up not being quite so expensive In the interest of safety get TOP QUALITY tyres without compromise Keep safe and ride safe
