The wheels are for racing and I want both wheels to be ideally as light as possible, but also robust (more on the light side though) and if deep rims even better- although I doubt deep rimmed wheels could be found at my budget. If possible let me know where I can find them (in the UK)Thanks.
I had a trek 7100 and that's a first rate little motorbike, in case you're use to driving a low-priced mountain motorbike for that long the 7100 would be a extensive progression and lots much less confusing to experience on. you could placed drop bars on it, yet you will could replace the shifters and brake levers using fact those that contain it are unlike minded with drop bars. That motorbike is basically not very sturdy for racing although, you're sitting too upright and is basically not very aerodynamic, it is not geared for the better speeds that racers shuttle at, and the front ask your self will take up a good number of the capability of your pedal stroke i might say flow with the 7100 and function your motorbike shop placed a larger geared cassette on and use it to your holiday and education, and then shop up and get your self a sturdy street motorbike for racing.
Too many conditions. If you want lightweight wheels for racing, they will probably cost more. Lightweight and deep section rims would have to be carbon fiber, again costly. Lightweight wheels that are also strong will again up the price. Most of the wheels in your price rage would be fine for training, but not really be suitable for road racing. You also have to buy wheels suitable for your weight, the lightest wheels out there might not be suitable for heavier riders
