SIMPLE ANSWER: good for people (if drivers slow down), drivers will slow down, be more aware of surroundings bad for cars and people (if drivers don't slow down), steering, suspension creaks
If you have kids and cars go by 50mph in a residential neighbor hood, You will welcome them. People don't know what it is to drive the speed limit any more so they have to take other actions to slow them down.
fire extinguisher is good for electrical dashboard fires or if somebody dropped a Doobie into the shag carpeting. Probably too small if the engine caught on fire. . But 100F is nothing considering your heater thermostat on the engine opens at 160 or 180F which is normal engine running temperature for all cars. Make sure you are full of coolant on every trip by checking in the morning. Or your engine will overheat. Make sure the hoses and belts are good.. 100 degrees is safe for the fire extinguisher. Easy
Speed bumps make roads MORE dangerous Most accidents happen at intersections, NOT in the middle of a residential street Traffic circles are THE best way to slow traffic at dangerous intersections Police presence is THE best way to slow traffic on residential streets Speed bumps decrease your property value Speed bumps damage your vehicle Speed bumps SLOW DOWN emergency response time for police cars, fire trucks and ambulances (where every minute counts) Speed bumps don't save lives - they contribute to accidents and deaths
