I mygrandmama car is a 2006 crysler pt cruiser and her abs brake system dashboard light is permanently on now. and she just had her brake fixed and rebalanced. So why is the light still on? Does this mean she has to get a new sensor again?

Depends. When I lived in Vegas (30+ years ago, I'm sure the law has changed by now), all they went by was the engine serial number. When I pulled an engine from one bike and installed it in another frame, I just had to register it by the engine number. When I moved back to Cally, at that time they went by both frame and engine number.
if you get pulled over on a bike that is popular with thieves,the cops will check both the engine and frame numbers to see if they match,if they dont,then you have some explaining to do,which is why you should allways document everything if you change engines/blocks,have seen alot of guys have thier bikes impounded while cops do a very slow investigation,cutting into an already short riding season here in canada
