well a dozer is used to push dirt or rocks or whatever aound and as a front end kinda like a snow plow and a loader is similar but has a bucket or forks on the end of it so you can lift things up such as pipe or pick up dirt or rocks if it has a bucket on it. i use a loader at work just about every day in the construction business. i use it to load trucks and trailers with pipes welders, buckets, augers and so fourth. there is many different uses for them. and google will help you out with pictures of them
