Question:

What is User Access Control?

Please can someone explain to me, in simple terms, what User Access Control is on Windows OS? Many thanks!

Answer:

I do not believe they are required to purchase one for you. They are, by law, supposed to just have a smoke detector in the house. Which, I am assuming they do. However, you can buy a cheap one. What kind are you wanting? One that flashes? If so, then how are you going to know it is going off when you are asleep??
When I was an apartment manager I installed smoke detectors in all the apartments, first you put in a new 9 volt battery. To make sure they were working I had a cigarette and blew smoke at it to see if it worked, and it did. That was my way of testing each one to make sure it was working. Just the other day I could hear a slight beep once in awhile from the other room which was the smoke detector, that meant the battery was low. I replaced the battery and the noise is gone and it is working just fine. If you don't smoke which is good for you. But, if you know someone who does have them come over to help you test them. Good you are checking this out though, good for you.
