Does anyone know what sequins are made from (the type that are sewn onto dresses and costumes)? Obviously it's some sort of reflective/metallic plastic, but I need to know the specific name of the material. I also need to find a supplier that sells this material in large, uncut sheets. Any ideas?
Right now, A-Rod is the latest lightning rod of controversy. If you are a sportswriter, a talking head, or a book writer the best thing you can do to get your name out there is hitch yourself onto the most controversial person you can find. In this case, Alex is your guy. The American public are generally curious by nature and, sadly, this book will sell because people love a story like this; especially when the multi-million dollar golden boy (A-Rod) is attached to it. People, whether they choose to admit it or not, love to see a guy like this go down so I'm sure they'll line up to read this book. I don't think this is anything personal between the book's author and A-Rod, I just think it's good business for a sportswriter and it will sell.
that's what happens when you act like a spoiled child. Remember the world series that he had announced that all negotiations were off with the Yankees? And what a few months later he's got the biggest salary in baseball. One would think there would be a morality clause that the yankees could void the contract. But once he admitted to using it should keep him out of the hof no matter what he does in the future.
