What's the difference between a pressure transmitter and a pressure sensor?
The pressure sensor is a component of the pressure transmitter. The pressure signal measured by the pressure sensor is converted to standard signal output, or the actual pressure value of the field is directly displayed in a digital display mode
The pressure transmitter is mainly composed of pressure measuring element, sensor, measuring circuit and process connecting piece. Different physical quantities require different pressure sensors and corresponding pressure transmitters.
