Did Tiger Woods hit the fire hydrant and tree simply because he was in a hurry to make his 2:30 AM tee time?
I don't think there is a dress code for this. The ceremony is what dictates what the guests should wear based on formality. Absolutely NO jeans or T-shirts. That is so tacky no matter what. Why wouldn't you want to take a date? Are you embarrassed that the ceremony is in a fire hall? Couples do the best they can when it comes to weddings. Perhaps this was the best they could do financially or maybe it holds some special sentiment to the couple. Yes, it may not always suit the guest(s) personal tastes, but hey, it's the couple's wedding, not the guest(s)'. If you're worrying about impressing someone, save it for a date or your own wedding.
depending on what it is if he wears his uniform then you could wear dress slacks and a nice blouse it is not like you are going to a prom i am a firefighter myself and these functions can be very fun give it a try i am sure you will enjoy yourself
see the truth is that most under ground sewage pipes made today aren't glued but use a rubber gasket, so that fact blows out your whole question. and where are you links to this question. and maybe the way they install there plumbing over in Iraq is diff rent from the US. because cast iron pips don't require glue but also have rubber gaskets, plastic pips use glue or gaskets.
