Can I make beads with the organic product sold as copal resin? Is there another ingredient added to the resin to make it harder and produce copal beads (like those from the African trade)?Are there different qualities of copal?

the only time i know that a smoke detector should beep is when the battery is low.
in my experience, a beeping smoke detector needs new batteries. the detectors may be new, but perhaps the batteries are old. you might want to check that out.
Maybe you could take it to the place you bought it and have it repaired or just maybe look around at wires in the smoke detectors and if anything looks different then jiggle the wires around.Maybe if you tried Michigan codes for detectors it might work.
