It sounds like something is dragging when I drive and it really is aggravating. My muffler is a little loose, and somebody suggested that maybe I have like a loose break pad, but I don't know. It's been doing this since I hit a speed bump going a little fast. For a day it so it only made the noise when I was not accelerating or braking, but it does it constantly and it's really annoying. I have an '01 Chevy Blazer if that matters. And there is nothing dragging that's the first thimg I checked.
You don't say how big the repair is, or what is involved. I have used west system six10 epoxy with perfect results. It is gap filling and structural, stronger than what is around it. It mixes properly when you shoot it from a caulking gun and can be smoothed out.
I always hate these bendy flat plane images of gravity because they are so misleading. General Relativity does indeed show that gravity is equivalent to spacetime curvature, but to get an idea of what this means think of a flat plane contour map. The distance between contours tells you how big a metre is at different places in the spacetime. Now if you put a big mass somewhere, the contours get closer together- that is what is meant by bending space time. A long way from the big mass the contours are almost straight lines, and spacetime is then flat.
To add what the other posters have stated I would toss the extinguisher. Especially if it's a dry chemical type. Nearly all extinguishers lose pressure over time. Even ones that are never used. Once they are used, the problem accelerates. You don't want to grab it 6 months from now when you really need it and there's nothing there to work with.
There should be a gauge on the handle. If it's still in green, which isn't likely, then you are OK. If it's in yellow or red, then you need to recharge or replace the unit. Hope this helps.
