Question:

What type of exhaust ventilation system is right for my need?

Basically, I am looking to exhaust out some hot air (roughly 25,000btu/hr) from a piece of machinery. I believe if I do this, it will releave my hvac unit of 300,000 btu/day (12hrs of operation) of cooling power needed jus to negate the heat from this piece of equipment. Ive already designed and fabricated a vent adapter that catches all the outcoming air and redirects it into a 4 exhaust pipe. This exhaust has been ran up the wall, through the ceiling and now I‘m at the part where I ask myself, exactly how do i get this out? There have been problems thus far, in which the equipment overheated because the heat accumalated in the newly fabricated vent thingamajig. I figured if I can create negative pressure (by some type of forced suction, ie vacuum, fan, etc), that I can effectively remove that heat. Are there any brands or specific models that do some hi-flow suction/ventilation unit out thats economic (under $500 not incl installation) at the same time? Thanks for your time, and consideration :)

Answer:

The 8500 GVW rear axle in the 2500 is the same as the single wheel 3500 rear end.The only difference would be a duel wheel setup. The front axle in the 3500 is a Dana 60-different and beefier than the 2500. Do some measuring before anything.U joint cup sizes may differ also.
you can use big types of exhaust fans which we use in big hotels for exhausting heat or you can also use secondary refrigeration cycle to cool the hot air, it will need some more power but heat added to the environment will be reduced to large extent and you'll make your project ecofriendly upto some extent
I'd strongly advise consulting a HVAC expert, I'm not one, but your 4 exhaust pipe.sounds like your main problem. I'd use a much larger exost pipe to make it easier on the fan.
I recommend using a centrifugal blower (a.k.a. squirrel-cage fan) for your air mover. It moves high volumes of air more efficiently than a vaned fan will. You may want to rethink your 4 exhaust diameter. Any restrictions in your exhaust system will create back pressure and defeat the fan's efficiency. I suspect you can complete the system for less than $300 if you shop around for the blower.
