I love my cat, and she loves me, and I don't want to ruin that. But I'm planning to be an exchange student in the future. If I'm halfway across the world for a year, what will happen? Will this affect my cat's behavior towards me when I come home? Will she not like me anymore, or think I'm a different person? I'm worried. I don't want to leave her behind, and not seeing her for a year would be pretty brutal for her and me because I'm the only one that she ever stays around. She even sleeps in my room. None of my family like her, except for my dad, but he's allergic to cats and he is only is home after work.I really want to know. Thank you, and no nasty answers.

(dont do this, not smart, not safe. no matter how much fun it was)
