Question:

Whats better... A front loader or top loader washing machine & why?

buying a new one tomorrow want some advice. Thanks

Answer:

Always stick to the top load washers - front loaders are just a fad. I worked for a business, which sold appliances, for over 10 years. I saw fads come and go, however, the top loaders were always the best sellers and you do not have to buy 'special' laundry soap. I recently saw an article about a 2-year old climbing into a front loader, older sibling closing the door, turning the machine on and the 2-year old dieing. The front loaders are just not as safe as the top loaders.
I don't know about a fad but front loading washers have been around since the 50's. It is the only choice in most of the world. Always buy front load. You will save about two thirds the water. You need about a third of detergent to get results. Better drying is achieved by higher spin speeds ( 1000 RPM is normal in front loaders). Better washing, you actually get clothes to scrub against each other. I do not, however recommend all the options some washers have. Just get a good capacity of at least 3.8 Cubic foot and you will be very happy, specially when a comforter needs to be washed.
i became into such as you till presently, could not be sure between acceptable or front loader. i ended up getting a front loader have not regarded back. it quite is a attractiveness! Washes somewhat nicely does not use lots water. it quite is a 7kg, lots sufficiently vast yet i might have favorite a swifter spin velocity than 800rpm I do propose getting a gadget that measures the quantity of water required for the burden. i will in no way pass back to a acceptable loader. each and all of the main suitable!!!
I've had both, didn't notice any difference in the washing.
I've had both. I found no difference in the cleanliness of my clothes, but the front loader was a bit faster. I went back to the top load because I like to soak my 6 year old's clothes before i wash them, and I put them in to soak as she wears them. I can presoak her clothes over the course of several days in my top loader, whereas in my front loader, I could not.
