Whats the best way to put in insulation in my old house?

I have a 85 year old house with 0 insulationIt has plaster walls and part of the home has the high cielingsI was considering blown in insulation at least in the roofAny one quot;Been there done thatquot;?

Answer:

It's possible, but if so, I will be forever in denial of the existance of superior tape.
Fiberglas reinforced tape and probably some mylars
3M makes a double-sided sticky tape that's much stronger and lighter than duct tape.
There is a tape that is used in the airline industry that is much stronger than duct tape, it's called speed tape, but I don't think it's available to the public.
