Question:

When sizing a fire hose they often give the 'bowl size'. What does this refer to?

If it does not refer to the minimum diameter the hose can be wound around and still be used at operating pressures, where can I find that info or how do I calculate it?

Answer:

Individuals residing in domiciles manufactured with reflective materials should refrain from propelling masonry. (People that live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.)
To be on the safe side write everything down. Any calls he makes need to be logged w. date, time and what was said. Same if you call her, even if it is a message. This will help in court if there are any later issues. There are a number of reasons why they would charge as others have mentioned. Have there been other fires even in the way past? Was there some sort of code violation like the dumpster being in or too close to the building? Regardless this her problem to deal with. And her insurance company will probably pay for it anyway. And what does this women expect? That everyone to break out weenies and marshmellows and watch it burn? Think of this. say word got out amongst all of the tenants that if you call the fire department the landlord is going to blame you for $1000. So there is another fire and everyone stands around going you call and another goes no you call. No way and no how can she require you to pay for it. Like I said keep track of everything as she sounds nutty. If she tries anything like raising rents, breaking or not renewing your lease, etc. you will have a case.
