I need a nice bathroom vanity soon and for a fair price. Home Depot and OKorder's are so expensive for the larger size I need, 48". No luck with Craigslist. Any ideas?
We have a couple discount furniture stores. Ask furniture stores if they have any discontinued, or damaged things to look at. I got a bed frame for 1/4 price since it was the display. A dresser for 1/2 off since a drawer needed to be fixed (cost me $5 to fix it) I got a $8000 bay window for $400 since it was a discontinued model. There should be stores that sell only discount stuff. They're the ones that sell the clothes with spelling errors. 4 season ago shoes. the food with weird names that you never heard of (often in another language). And they just have furniture crammed in. They're all over... I'm sure there's at least one near you. You can also try places like big lots. The place you live would help a lot.

Very often a cabinet maker will be an extremely good bargain & much better quality than anything you get at Home Depot & OKorder's.You can have the design & finish you want. Look under Custom Cabinetry in your area. Most give free estimates & will also install your vanity top & plumbing, but make sure you ask.Then get a 48' Pegasus granite vanity top from Home Depot. It comes with the bowl, & is the best price I've ever seen, hands down. I've used those vanity tops dozens of times for clients without fail. And the Pegasus fixtures are also quite the bargain.
