I lost the USB cable for my camera, and I have no idea what a memory card reader is, but i've read that it can upload your pictures onto your computer.I was wandering how the memory card works (i.e.: where it plugs in, etc.) and where I could possibly find one.
incredible SD and micro SD might desire to all artwork high quality (offering you have the mSD adapter). even if some card readers are a sprint fussy with SDHCs, i've got had a minimum of two situations while the pc basically did no longer understand an SDHC card, to my extensive inflammation.
As the name suggests, a card reader, reads the data directly from your SD card. Some newer computers and printers have multiple slots for different flash memory cards (i.e. Compact Flash, Sony Memory Stick, SD, xD, etc). By removing the card from your camera and inserting the card into the card reader the computer recognizes the card as a removable storage device or as another drive. You can also use these cards as storage media for .mp3 files to load onto some .mp3 players. Most of the external card readers connect to your computer via USB ports and the majority of them are plug and play if you have Windows XP. A few may still require an installation CD which would come with the reader. Check out SanDisk for some really good card readers. You can also find them online, at most major retailer's electronics departments and most electronics stores. (I'd suggest staying away from Best Buy, they tend to overprice their stuff)
