ok i've been seeing a lot of eye shadow pallets on make up tutorials and i was wondering where i could buy one for cheap.
Go ahead and use them. After they start falling apart then you can replace them with something else. Termites won't be attracted to your house unless the conditions are right. Just don't have them butt up against the foundation of your house. Put some sand or gravel under them for drainage.
I live in POLK, work in a few counties, and your issue is probably not going to be what you expect in a profit issue. Certainly there are orgs. that recycle pallets, FOR PROFIT,,,Yikes, try to find a free one. Probably looking at some legwork, and posting, locally like in a FLYER insert from your local newspaper, if not online. Pallets have become big business in the last few years. Steven Wolf
Sure you can do it, but your nephew is right. The untreated wood will attrack termites to your yard and increase the risk of them getting in your house. You would be better off if you could use treated wood or gravel. This will eat up some money, but the termites can eat up a lot of money too.
