My Honda Civic, front-wheel drive, seems to do well with the Blizzaks but after two seasons, they're beginning to lose some traction. What would be the advantage of having my other set of tires studded?
Just try to get through this winter first. Then consider other methods of heating. (1) Get a new electric blanket to sleep with at night. You probably do not want a wood stove. (2) You can try a couple of ceramic electric heaters to warm up. You need to keep the interior above freezing to keep water flowing. (3) Put electric heat tape around water pipes coming into trailer. Any underpinning ? (4) A lot of heat is lost out windows , winterize windows by putting plastic over them. (5) Put blankets at bottom of doors to outside to slow down drafts. (6) Can you safely burn some candles ? They put out heat. (7) Wear more clothes in house than normal. (8) Can you get any public assistance since you lost your home ? - - - I wish you well.
Block off the skirts in cold weather. Even a small draft underneath will make it impossible to heat. 60 amps isn't enough to heat with electricty. A 1966 trailer is not fire proof anyway. It wasn't until the late 1970's that those regs finally took effect. Put heavy blankets over the windows and seal the doors with peel and stick foam and wear a sweater and sleep with a heating pad.
It's not necessary, you can use a regular sunscreen. I believe Neutrogena makes ones that aren't for age. However, if you're very passionate about not having wrinkles go for it!
thank you for all these wonderful suggestions, May God bless you all. I Have decided to sell the trailer and move into a small heated apartment. Thanks again.
