I'm going to straighten my hairand i have 2 products , but i don't know which one works better or keeps my hair more healthy?? (besides the fact that straightneing my hair isn't healthy for it) But i don't want to fry all my hair.The 2 products are:Bed Head - Control Freak (frizz control straightener)One 'n Only - Ceramic Silk (thermal protectionironing creme.)Please help! It is the same recipe I use but I chill the dough for about an hour before making the ballsIf you don't they come out flatI use salted butterI don't find that the salt in the butter affects the tasteBe sure not to use margarine even the stick kind has too much water content for most cookie recipes.
One thing I know for sure with cookies is to never over-mix the doughDo it with a wooden spoon, trust me, the coarser the mixture, the better the outcome, otherwise you'll end up with peanut butter flat cakes.
If they're coming out like pancakes, perhaps you should reduce the amount of baking soda or baking powder in the recipe.
3/4 c of speanut butter 1/2 c of Crisco 1 1/4 c brown sugar firmly packed 3 Tbs milk 1 Tbs vanilla Mix above ingredients then add 1 beaten egg Combine following ingredients 1 3/4 all purpose flour 3/4 tsp salt 3/4 tsp baking soda Now mix dry ingredients to the wet mixtureDrop heaping teaspoon then flatten crisscross with fork.Bake 375 for 7-9 minutesBake on parchment paperMakes about 3 dozen
