By book burning I mean when people gather a pile of books and burn them for whatever reason, not just a random book that‘s on fire.Same with flag burning, and it would be your country‘s flag.
iron man fyi jamie thats why iron man is better he is a ******* genuise -ian
Iron man. He is a badass, spiderman is a whiny p****. Also, spiderman just has a web and strength, whereas iron man can fly, shoots those energy bursts, has guns, AND is pretty strong
While I love the union Jack to see books burn is worse, I have three poetry books by Robert Burns, printed in 1800, inside is written this presented to Sarah Howland by JJ in 1846. I had a fire in my house Im so glad they survived, I feel like I'm custodian to them, responsible for their care, silly really. But as others have said the knowledge and beauty of some books are irreplaceable. If one had to burn, its my countries flag I'm afraid. Ive seen Britain's flag being burnt along side with the American, and its not nice, but I love books
Book burning would be the most horrible occurrence I would ever bare witness to. All that knowledge and work turned to ashes in minutes. The flag I can bare burning though I don't particularly agree with it, but a book burning I definitely could not stand.
Book burning! Definitely book burning!!!!!!!! Knowledge and ideas (even the really bad books which I refuse to finish reading because the writing is so terrible and the ideas are just pathetic) being destroyed is atrocious. A lot of work goes into them! On the other hand, nation's flags are treated so blithely now that there's really no value left in them. Tattoos, wearing them as clothing, or clothes with them printed on them, letting them touch the ground all the time! If I was to see someone burning an aussie flag for no reason. well that's a bit wasteful really (would consider it on a par with setting a good blanket on fire) but if they have a reason, they're either seeking attention for it's own sake (in which case I would ignore them) or they have a genuine reason for it.
