my dad is buying a 1975 camaro, and it doesn‘t have wipers. i‘ve heard of people doing this to their car, but i‘m curious as to why.
Some people are jerks and don't mind trashing other peoples stuff. It might have been a prank or a scavenger hunt item. Your dad has good taste in classic cars.
Some do it to improve the look. They figure it is a show car and that they wont be driving it in the rain anyway. Many people trailer classic and custom cars, and would not consider taking them out if the weather was not very nice. Hope this helps.
Well for one it gives the car a cleaner look.Windshield wipers are not the best looking part of any car.Then there is the reason for better view out the windshield.I have a classic 4x4 that I take 4 wheeling.The wipers are at the top of the windshield.In the summer I have no real need for them so I take them off for better visibility.
