Question:

why is copper used for water pipes and pots and pans???

pleast i need help!!!!

Answer:

were you put the transmission fluid at it should say transmission fluid and Thais were you put it at and i know your going to say how get a funnel
from the side of the trans, there will be a plug either a bolt or like a pipe plug. Unscrew it and fill up to the lever of the hole. Use appropriate fluid.
Because copper will not clog up with rust when it is used for plumbing and for cooking it is light and a great heat conductor.
For pipes copper does not oxidise with water like Iron would and yet remains quite malleable to work with to create complex joints. It is also none toxic as old lead pipes were known to be. Pots and pans use copper as it is a good heat conductor.
