Question:

Why is one side of my car lower than the other?

1996 Lincoln Mark VIII with the air ride suspension. The left side of the car is exactly 1 inch lower than the right side of the car. The front right (6in off the ground), rear right (9in), front left (5in), rear left (8in). The onboard message display in the car says the air ride is working just fine. I don't think its a problem with the air compressor because it turns on when it should and is not on all the time if there is an air leak. Another thing I should mention is that when I turn the car on and the air ride raises the car, it raises all sides 1 inch. So i'm always 1inch off weather the car is on or offAlso, what are frame spacers a friend said that could be the problem, he said it keeps the frame from touching the body of the car.please help

Answer:

just try and use natural fibers , and wash around 60* celsius, u cant go wrong. btw, u can always bleach sutubborn stains.
Easy one! You have a sensor problem. The computer sees an ok signal from each sensor and says so. Look for a difference in lengths, or bent mounting. Could even be a wrong sensor replacement. Has it been wrecked? Wrong wheel size? Low tire. Some services fail to turn off suspension systems and damage sensors when vehicle is lifted. Just changing a flat can cause trouble if it isn't shut off.
