Hi,I have a 1964 Nordmende Mikado record player/ radio. The radio works perfectly. The record player was working but now when I press start the needle will not move on to the record like it's supposed to and the record won't spin either, any suggestions?
The braided crap, just like the flower-carbon (fluorocarbon) backlashes a lot more and neither hold a knot well. Plus I burned the HELL out of my thumb the first time I used braid. Stick with mono. And a bass rod for $50? You get what you pay for I think The Wormist is refering to an Ugly Stik, stay away from those too if you want a good bass rod.
