Why would a copper pipe in a house corrode?
it is usually caused by hard water. minerals and deposits from the water source. we have a well where i live and have replaced the copper pipes because of this.
put it out, jump into water, take a shower, roll in mud,run around through places[forests cities etc.] climb a tree [note:some of these wont put it out and may make it worse] [note:Please be more specific,is it a general over allput it out.make it worse.etc?]
One could immerse oneself completely in a nearby body of water if there was one nearby (e.g. a swimming pool, lake, pond, ocean).
If you have a leak around a joint then you will see corrosion there.

Connecting two different types of metal in direct contact causes erosion of the weaker metal. Copper will not normally erode- so something is doing the damage, you should be able to see what it is- tell us where the pipe is and what its used for.
