Question:

Wii Usb loader Gx problem?

so i softmodded my wii to run wbfs files off my hard dive. To do this i had to format it to fat32. But the problem about fat32 is that you cant put files over 4gb on the drive. When i format it to ntfs the usb loader freezes and it wont load. What do i do to put larger wbfs files on my drive without formatting to ntfs or any way that will let my play my games. Thank you.

Answer:

Don't use WBFS, it's old and inferior to fat32. Stay on fat32 it's the new standard in usb loading. Just use WiiBackUp manager to transfer your games to your flash drive.
When you use GX to make a backup of your game disk to a fat32 drive, it will automatically split the file at 2GB OR 4GB (in hard drive setting on GX). Or if you use Wii Backup Manager on your computer, it will split the file for you. So you have SC7E52.wbfs and SC7E52.wbf1 for a game that is 4.08GB and GX will know that is is one game and play it just fine.......
