Question:

Wires in ceiling won't stop beeping after removing smoke detectors?

I've removed both smoke detectors from my ceiling. I replaced the batteries, put them back, and then the beeping started. I took the batteries out, took the smoke detectors down, and something in the ceiling is STILL beeping. All I can see in the holes in the ceiling is wires. The beeping has been going on for two days and it is driving me nuts. Please help! How can I stop the beeping?

Answer:

I don't know anything about the clone iPhone but you don't say if you have a T-Mobile EDGE data plan or not. You also don't mention if you can edit your phone's EDGE settings, especially the proxy server. And, are you trying to connect to the web via wifi or EDGE? Ask your question again when you have this info.
The idea behind a dry chemical fire extinguisher is to blanket the fuel with an inert solid (similar to dirt or sand). A dry chemical extinguisher sprays a very fine powder of sodium bicarbonate (NaHCO3, baking soda), potassium bicarbonate (KHCO3, nearly identical to baking soda), or monoammonium phosphate ((NH4)H2PO4). These solids coat the fuel and smother the fire.
They cover the fire and starve it of it's oxygen. No oxygen - no more fire. You best source for a detailed explanation is in the provided link. A great source of information about many many subjects. Al
