You could make a sorta margarita, lacking everything but the triple sec. 6oz lime juice, About a Tbsp of lemon/tsp of sugar to sub for the triple sec and 2 oz tequila. Add a dash of the grenadine and call it a pink margarita.
Ditch the grenadine. If you have sugar and water you can make a simple syrup and you'd have stuff to make a sidecar or a classic margarita. Simple syrup is 1 part water to 2 parts sugar, boil gently until it's all dissolved. Simple syrup the juice from the limes lemons = a tequila sour. If you don't want to do that, juice the limes and add the patron and a little regular sugar and water and you've more or less got a simplified margarita. Add a few drops of the grenadine if you feel like it.
Leave out the grenadine altogether. 2 oz tequila juice from 1/2 a lime lemon twist If you do add grenadine, don't use more than a small dash. You may also consider adding a pinch of sea salt to cut the sweetness... it CERTAINLY won't need any sugar! Cheers Edit...Sidecar is brandy, Cointreau and lemon juice... Margarita is Tequila, Cointreau and lime juice... can't make either with the ingredients listed... If you want to make a traditional sour mix: 1 egg white, frothed with 1/2oz lime juice, 1/2oz lemon juice and pinch of sugar... combine that with 2-2.5 oz tequila for a really interesting Teq. Sour
