Question:

Would you suggest purchasing baby clothes and other items at the Salvation Army?

I know a lot of people buy their baby clothes 2nd hand but would you ever consider getting car seats and baby swings etc? The thing is that we have a neighbor who is going wants to sell us some items however it seems like she is over pricing them. She wants to sell baby clothes for 50-60 bucks as well as a car seat for 90.00. The thing is that I looked at the things she wants to sell and you can get a carseat brand new from walmart for less than what she is trying to sell it for. IF you shopped at salvation army for any baby supplies exactly how much did certain items cost. For example, clothes, and maybe even a car seat or swing? I am just trying to get the best deal here and dont want to be ripped off by my neighbor as this is my first baby.

Full-fingered gloves, any type will work. Eye protection, goggles - eye glasses don't count. Take a helmet just in case.
