Question:

XBOX 360 Rechargeable Battery Pack?

I have one of those Plug n Play rechargeable battery packs that I use when I don't have batteries. I know they aren't really reliable and the shelf-life is losing pretty fast. But now, every time I place my battery pack inside the charger, it quickly switches from red to green in the matter of seconds. There use to be an easy fix to this that I use to go through to alleviate the problem but I haven't played XBOX in awhile and forgot it. Is their an official way to get the Plug n Play charger to work correctly like it's suppose too? I unplugged, waited ten seconds and plugged back up. I turned off the XBOX console with the controller. Nothing works. But *something* use to work. I just forgot what method I used

Answer:

you have damaged your battery, go to game stop and purchase a new rechargeable one for 11$
TRY 2 TWO WEEK BANS ONLY A COUPLE DAYS APART. MICROSOFT IS SO FULL OF CRAP. SAVE YOURSELF A FEW HEADACHES SELL YOUR XBOX BUY A PS3 AND NEVER BUY ANY CRAP FROM MICROSOFT AGAIN. IM ON MY 4TH 360 THE FIRST 3 RED RINGED DAYS AFTER THEIR WARRANTIES HAD RUN OUT AND THE MIKES FOR LIVE DONT LAST FOR MUCH MORE THAN A COUPLE MONTHS. OH AND YEAH YOU CAN GET SUSPENDED FOR ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.
As long as you hold down the guide button until it comes up with an option to turn off your controller, then no it won't do any damagebut constantly pulling the battery pack out might eventually damage it but im not sure
when it does that take the battery pack off and put it back on.and if teh kit says its fully charged its fully charged. also if u charge the battery too much IT KILLS THE BATTERY. so leaving it plugged in while ur playing and the light is green is hurting not helping. if u want to do that take the battery pack out and plug the charger into the contoller and wala!! a wired controller. also BUYING BATTERIES DEFEATS THE PURPOSE OF A PLUG AND PLAY KIT. what do u mean u use the plug and play kit when u dont have batteries. U SHOULD NEVER HAVE BATTERIES EVER AGAIN lol.
