You are given standard 4-way entry GMA pallets with 40” x 48” top decks. An unloaded pallet weighs 55 lb. The upper surface of the top deck of the pallet is 7 inches above the floor when the pallet is sitting flat on the concrete floor of a warehouse. The shipping containers are 9.0 inches wide x 11.0 inches in length x 8.0 inches high and weigh 35 pounds when filled and closed. Rules and constraints: a. The boxes must be stacked with the bottom 9quot; x 11quot; surface down and the 8 inch dimension vertical. b. The boxes, when stacked on the pallet, cannot overlap the deck at any point. c. The boxes are to be stacked on the pallet in columns. (Each layer must be stacked like the bottom layer.) d. A single loaded pallet, including the pallet, cannot be taller than 60 inches. e. A double stack of two loaded pallets, including the pallets, cannot be taller than 111 inches. f. A double stack of two identically loaded pallets cannot weigh more than 6,000 lb.g.
