Answer:

I had the same problem with my 1999 Olds Bravada which is pretty much the same SUV it ended up being a ABS sensor on RT front wheel I would get it fixed ASAP Evan though you have normal brake operation except ABS they can hook up to computer and find out whats up. It's all computer controlled crap not like the old days where all you really did was change pads or shoes!!!
lots of the above strategies hide the suited concerns worry-loose to any automobile: undesirable sensors and so on. besides the fact that there is an fairly worry-loose project particular to the 2002-2010 mountaineer and explorers the region the ABS basic comes on AND the cruise administration would not paintings. If this difficulty happens: replace the cruise administration cutoff replace that's fixed at the back of the Brake Cylinder. the section is style of 20-30 dollars from the broker service and takes basically 5-10 minutes to swap.
There is a problem in the Antilock brake system. Your brakes will still function and stop the vehicle but the antilock function will be disabled because it will not react properly. To fix it properly and cost effectively, you need to take it to a reputable repair shop or dealer. There are too many very expensive possibilities to give you a guess.
