Hello,I am installing floating engineered floor in my condo. I used cork and Quiet Walk as soundproofing in bedrooms. For a living roomI wanted to upgrade to better IIC/STC numbers and bought Duro Acoustik rubber underlayment 1/4 inch or 6 mil made out of 100% recycled tires. The problem I faced as soon as I brough it home is strong tire odor from the rubber sheets. It is so strong that I almost getting a headache when I am around it. Retailer I bought material from said the odor will go away in a few days, but I am concerned for my family health. Does anyone know anything about this product? Thanks a lot in advance!
Well you really ought to consider wearing some sort of safety glove when using the glue. Use a nail file and file the skin, it really does work! It's pain free and not gonna do any further damage to the skin.
un plug the alarm, and plug it in when you get up
