i just noticed that one of my brackets is loose from my teeth. I have an appointment until January though. Should I schedule an emergency appointment or will I be fine until January?
It isn't THAT big of deal. There is only 8 more days until January anyway, and if you Ortho is anything like mine, they wont have time for your emergency appt lol
you dont need an othro to do that just call and tell them ur bracket is loose they schedule prolly next day or same they and go get it fixed.
This has happened to me a couple times. If it is completely off your tooth but is still on the wire you should call your dentist. If it's just feeling loose you should still call your dentist. He or she will decide whether you can wait until your appointment or schedule an emergency appointment. They will probably fix it right away or else it could extend your treatment time since the bracket isn't really doing it's job anymore.
