Question:

Broadview (Brinks) Security?

Anyone know the prices of extra parts for a broadview system? i'm mostly interested in the price of smoke/heat detectors, extra door/window contacts, and motion detectors.also does anyone know if the system is wireless? i couldn't tell on their site, but i'm sure it isalso, would it be possible to enter the house using the remote (key fob) disarm button without the control pad making a loud announcement? what about putting it on stay mode after? i would like an alarm that allows me to enter without waking the whole housethanks

Answer:

Two possibilities. As stated earlier you have another smoke detector some where in the house or you have a central alarm system that needs to be reset. If it's a smoke detector you will have to follow the sounds to find it. If it is a central style you will have to find the panel (it may or may not be near the source of the sound. Good Luck!
First, you need to check and see if the schedule had been changed at some point. If it had been before you got off, then they had every right to reprimand you (more on this in a bit). If it was after you were off, then they should have contacted you. If you did not attempt to contact you and it was changed after you were off, then this is wrong. Secondly, the company should have an attendance policy. If this is standard procedure, that is documented, you are told about, and provided a copy withthen they are to reprimand you according to that policy. If they went against that policy, then this is wrong.
