Question:

can I encase a Butterfly in resin?

I work mainly with beads and wire, so I have no clue on this, but I found a perfect dead monarch butterfly the other day on the ground and I would like to preserve it or maybe even make it into a pendant or something. Any ideas on how I'd go about it? I was thinking about using plastic resin but it’s kind of pricy and I’m afraid it would ruin the wings, would something like supper glue work?

Answer:

Usually in bike shops there are local maps of the city that you live in. It would mark the better streets and lists all the bike paths in the area, so definitely check it out. There are some highways that do allow bikes, and has a nice wide shoulder as well. But definitely stay out of Interstates, as most of them are illegal and dangerous for bikes to ride on. Ride as much as possible to the right, but not completely too close so you run out of space. Definitely wear a helmet and install lights if you will be riding close to dusk. Since you're about to get your driver license, now is a good time to learn rules of the road and you can start with a bike. If you're savvy with riding with traffic, when you learn to drive a car it will be a cinch since you got all the awareness and knowledge of the road.
The magnitude of horizontal component should be 2 m so 6.8 cos(θ) 2 θ cos^-1(2/6.8) 72.9 or 107.1 degrees since we are looking only for the absolute value, and I cos(72.9) I I cos(107.1) I, both the angles are correct.
