Can you use regular lime for key lime pie?
We (Thai) call “Lime” as “??????” (poon-kaow). Lime applied to the lawn when it is too acid in pH restores the neutral reaction and your grass grows better. A soil test should always be done before lime is added to the lawn, since too much lime can be just as harmful to the lawn as to little then read the packaging carefully. One more thing, we’d apply “??????” or “Lime” to prevent and repel snakes from the area as well.
It's and you will find it sold in small bags in construction materials shops. However, I'm not sure that this is the preparation you need for lawns as this ?????? hardens into a cake of white plaster after getting wet. It is usually used for grouting or setting toilets.
Lime as it is used with a lawn is short for limestone, which my dictionary translates as ?????? (hin-poon) or just ??? (poon).
