i agree the ferret should have old clothes you don't wear anymore, they love to climb into them and make a nest sort of, and a litter box for their bathroom
Uh, no not really. That would just make it wet, then dry again. It won't take out all of the ferret leavings and odors behind though. Probably for now, just cover it's cage with news paper. Other than that I am not very sure. Try calling a pet store or a local animal shelter and ask them.
Well, considering the fact that they should have old clothes as bedding (and not have the bedding that rodents have), then YES you need to wash it. Weekly, as a matter of fact.
