Question:

Carbon monoxide leak? dont know if i should.leave house?

Right before my heater starts blasting warm air it like loads for 30 seconds and kind of just makes this loud noise. Well this noise has been going on for 45 minutes and no heat is coming out. That's not normal. Well I'm afraid there's a carbon monoxide leak but I can't tell? I don't have a detector. I'm home alone and idk if I should leave the house? Is there a leak? Should I leave?

Answer:

You get them in contact with a social worker
If you buy a 90+ furnace instead of an 80+ then the furnace will pay for itself over the years with the money that would've been going out the vent if you had purchased an 80+ Also the 90+ uses PVC vent pipe instead of the metal pipe on an 80+ so your vent will never rust and need replacing. And I personally think the 90+ inducer motors are more hardy than the 80+ ones. Just spend the extra money, they are quieter, less maintenance, vent piping is better, and will save you more money on your gas bill than the 80+
The hardest part is already over if they have left the abuser. Assuming they have taken into consideration all of the necessities one children needs IE: a set of keys to the home, car, and workplace, money, clothes, toiletries etc Then: Assurance of their safety while at the shelter or Safety check-ins should they leave the shelter Assessment of the risk factors or causes in the cycle of violence Discuss service options that are available to them at the shelter or close proximity
