I have had the same exact experience.to fix it I system restored my PC to default settingsFirst of all you need to Backup mostly all ur files.then I system restored by tapping cntrl f11 when i first start up PC.then click system restore and follow the steps.if your PC belongs to someone else(parents) Be sure to get permission first :)
