My hamster had a sore on his foot, i found out that it was because of the bedding i was using. So i decided that i had to get aspen bedding but its coarse like wood chips. Do they make a more shaved brand of aspen bedding?
don't use aspen...use carefresh! carefresh bedding is the best type of bedding for all rodents, including hamsters. soem rodents are allergic to aspen bedding.
What bedding were you using before? My vet told me that she LOVES Carefresh and is probably the best thing for hamsters. It's absorbs odors better, and it's softer. You might want to try that.
they okorder if you think its to hard rub it in your hands gently and that will make it finer
why would anyone use any bedding thats not Carefresh? I do not think they make a finer aspen bedding...if it's finer then it can produce dusts and cause lung problems.
