Question:

comcast cable question?

i just had comcast digital cable put in my room , and i can bareley hear anything , but when i turn the box off, and go to regular analog channels its nomal , HOW DO I FIX THIS ive tried turning the tv up to 100 and this doesnt help

Answer:

the comcast box has a volume control. I would say you need to look at the remote and find the up and down volume control
If you look closely, I think you will find that your cable box has a control for the volume on the remote that came with the box. If they left you no remote for the box, then I would get on the horn and tell them to bring you one. Those comcast ones have volume control, they all do.
A lot of the Cable boxes do have their own Volume bar you can adjust. To do this set your Cable Remote to Cable (located close to the top near the TV and AUX buttons) then turn up the volume to maximum. Then Set the remote to TV and set your volume on the TV.THEN set it back to Cable to control your Cable box Now, if it still does not function properly, try the MUTE button. Yep, both TV and Cable can mute the sound. Lastly, if it still does not function properly, then CALL COMCAST and have them bring out another Cable Box.
