I have a Nikon Coolpix S210, I was wondering if the USB Data cable will also function as a charger for the battery?I currently have no charger or data cable for it and the data cable is cheaper so i was wondering if i can just buy it and have it function as a data cable and a battery charger.
Most probably not. Ask computer shops, cellphone shops and photo shops for a compatible replacement charger.

No, you need a battery charger. Call Nikon and see if you can buy one from them. And instead of buying a USB cable, get a card reader instead. Not very expensive and easier to upload your pictures as it doesn't need your camera to do it.
