Question:

difference in tire size?

Ok is it possible to use a 175/60/15 tire on a car that has 175/65/15 tires

Answer:

a single in dual out muffler would be the cheap easy way
yes you can,and it will help the 6 make a lil better power, but to really get the benefit of a dual you need to improve the intake as well.a good muffler shop can advise you of any legal issues in your area.an help ya with a decision as to how big a pipe to run, cost etc
Yes but unless you use a pair of them I'd only use it temporarily though.
You can probably use them. The 60 and 65 are percentages. They mean that the tire you want to use is 175 millimeters wide, and its height from the rim is 60% of that. So the 175/60/15 is a slightly lower profile tire than the 175/65/15. Low profile tires tend to have stiffer sidewalls and better control, along with a harsher ride.
Check with a tire store like Goodyear or Sears. My husband tried to put a different tire size on his car (what he thought wouldn't matter- it was only a slight difference like you mention) and within minutes of driving the car out of the parking lot the tires were smoking and had a groove carved into them because they were rubbing somewhere on the undercarriage. Now he has four unusable tires that cost him $400. It was a total bill of $700 (the tires he bought then the ones he had to buy to replace them). A costly error. Listen to the tire store guy!
