Does anyone know of any events or decisions in history that we think as good decisions, but they were actually made for bad reasonsFor example, Henry VIII split from the Church which led to the Christian reformation, but he didn't split because he was sick of the Church or worried about the faith, but he did so because he wanted a divorce and the Church doesn't allow itAnyone know of any decisions in history or war made for bad, irrational, or dumb decisions? A woman, greed, jealousy? Thank you.
Basically what one might call a happy accident another wards I 2nd the 2 who pointed out Christopher Columbus and the founding of America- That might be ethnocentric of me, since I live in Americabut they are good points I don't know if you want to count this as events in History or notBut many Scientific advancements were made by accident SUPPOSEDLY - the invention of Post-It Notes was developed after a chemist tried to formulate a glue to attach the Space Shuttle's ceramic thermal shield to the bottom of the shuttleThe glue he formulated was very weak, but after playing around with it for a whilePost-Its were created That might be urban legendbut I'm sure there are other examples of happy accidents in history
I really don't know but just wanted to sayAussie girls rockand get my 2 points:D :D :D XOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXO
You can make oat milk from rolled oats, but its not as rich and creamy and nutritious as the kind made from whole oat groatsIts also best if you use an electric milk maker, which is good for oat/soy/rice/nut/bean milksYou can use the leftover pulp to make all sorts of yummy thingsIf you are interested in one, I know where there is a used one for sale online for about 1/2 of the original price, and its in great condition.
Rolled oats will be so good for your diet - they are natural, filling, no fat and low G.Lwhich means they release their energy in a slow controlled way so you don't get a sugar rush of energy, then resulting slump (when you then reach out for a biscuit.)Honey is good, it's natural and made by bees! If you do have sugar, the darker sugar is supposed to be better for you.
Like making rice milk it is better to if you can grind the oats into a flour in a food processor, and make it in a 20% oat to 80% water mass, sweetening is up to you, flavourings also vanilla or fruit bases can be added, for the rice and oat milk I have made either chocolate syrup or the strawberry one made by NestleJust bring your water to a boil, a 1/2 gallon of water, your sweetener and then 2 1/2 - 3 cups of oat flour, cook it until it re-boils and then cool and strain out the solids, I use a strainer with 2 coffee filters to rid it of the little bits, chill and then either flavour it, this is like the Horchata drink made in Mexico with rice flour and fruit bases, I would use the oats you have but in the future buy a longer cooking oats like ones labelled old fashion, they have more nutrients in the, here in canada I buy the Quaker ones labelled Large Flake.
