At my schools, we have to push a button for the fire alarm to go off. I have a couple of questions about it.1. Why do we need to push a button to pull the alarm? Anyone can get pushed on the station and accidently press the button. 2. Why is there a fire alarm push station in the gym? A ball can easily hit the button and press it. 3. Why don't they have security cameras on them? So when some asshole decides to push the fire alarm button falsely they know who did it. 4. Why do people use the fire alarm push station to conduct a fire drill? That's all.

Use should use a real tap to clear the hole and some compressed air afterwards. Do not use a self tapping screw.
The detector is activated by iron. The water would make little difference.
